PEDIGREE HIGHLIGHTS
• Beatrice VDL is a coming 3 year old mare (in 2009) and is a very beautiful, athletic and talented1st Premium imported KWPN registered Dutch Warmblood filly with beautiful brown and white markings with black highlights. She has a thin symmetrical white blaze running from her forelock to the tip of her nose. Her sire is Prestige VDL, an almost 100% Holsteiner bred Dressage Stallion who is by Silvano N, the highly respected stallion who has been successful for years at the highest level of dressage, winning more medals in the European, World Championships and Olympic Games than any other horse.   

•On the dam side, Beatrice VDL is out of a proven very fine Holsteiner mare whose sire was Lorentin I, the well respected and talented dressage sire who presents the perfect dressage picture. Lorentin I shows unbelievable dressage movement and is extremely fluid and athletic through the back. He won all his classes as a young dressage horse and qualified for the German Championships. His sire Loutano is also a famous dressage horse by Landgraf I. Loutano was Reserve Champion at the 1990 Holsteiner approvals and following many wins in conformation classes. 

•Beatrice VDL was awarded First Premium at the KWPN inspections in Holland and was selected out of approximately 1000 fillies of 2006 to compete in the KWPN National Foal Championships, finishing in the highly coveted Dutch National Championships in 3rd place overall. Beatrice has continued in our young horse development program showing she has extraordinary potential with an unequalled willingness to please everyone and a temperament that is really one of a kind. Beatrice has competed in several in-hand breed competitions this past summer and was Champion Mare and Reserve Grand Champion for the entire show at the Fair Hill Breed Competition in August. After the KWPN-NA inspections in September 2009 she will begin training under a very talented professional dressage trainer.
